Disaster of Non-Communicable Chronic Diseases

• Noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) account for 60% of all global deaths and this number is predicted to increase rapidly.

• 80% of NCDs deaths occur in low and middle income countries.

• Half of NCDs deaths occur prematurely and are caused by preventable heart disease, stroke, diabetes mellitus, hypertension, kidney diseases.…

• Diabetes & high blood pressure are the main causes of kidneys and Heart diseases.

• At 2015, chronic kidney diseases and heart (cardiovascular) diseases will kill 36 million populations worldwide.

• One bilion population of the contenent have high blood pressure, currently.

• By 2030, more than 360 milion populations will have diabetes mellitus with expected dramatic increase in kidney and heart diseases.
